I started out as a mechanical engineering major, and I used to race cars for Honda in college. I have always liked working with my hands. I switched my major to pre-med after becoming fascinated with orthopedic surgery while shadowing my uncles, who were both surgeons. I grew up in sunny Southern California. I actually was a Kaiser Permanente member myself as a kid, so it’s great to be back here again. Sports and exercise have always been a part of my life, which led me into sports medicine.
