Dr. Shane Woolf earned his undergraduate degree at Princeton University and then his medical degree from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine in 1998. He completed residency in orthopaedic surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina, and then went on to complete a sports medicine and shoulder reconstruction fellowship at the Taos Orthopaedic Institute in Taos, New Mexico.
