Dr. Ellefsen is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with over 25 years of experience specializing in the field of sports medicine and orthopaedic surgery. Dr. Ellefsen graduated from the Kansas City College of Medicine and Biosciences in 1988 and completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Deaconess Health Systems in St. Louis, MO and the University of South Florida, Tampa General Hospital in Tampa, FL in 1993.
