Surgeon Bio
Dr. Murphy received a Bachelor of Science degree in biology, graduating summa cum laude, from Furman University. He received his medical degree from the University of Alabama School of Medicine, graduating magna cum laude. He completed his orthopaedic surgery internship and residency from Greenville Hospital System. Following residency, he completed a one-year orthopaedic sports medicine fellowship from Mississippi Sports Medicine and Orthopaedic Center, Tulane Institute of Sports Medicine.
